THE BRIEF

Shea Moisture UK reached out to partner with Babes on Waves on an event within the Afro Hair & Beauty Live show at the Business Design Centre. The brief asked for us to host a panel interviewing Black Beauty leaders and to announce the Salon Fund Y2, as well as curate an interactive networking element for attendees to get free business advice.

WHAT WE DID

Jasmine, Founder of Babes on Waves hosted the panel for 60 attendees in conversation with Charlotte Williams (Beauty Influencer & Founder of Seven Six Agency); Taydra Mitchel Jackson (CMO of Shea Moisture); Keeks Reid (Beauty Editor) and and Candace Mitchell Harris (Founder of Myavana Hair) to discuss how entrepreneurship for Black women in the UK. We also brought in a Financial expert from our community to host Drop-in Mentor sessions after the panel.

Absolutely! You can pause your membership for up to 3 months so that you don’t have to wait to be accepted into the Club again.  

Email us at info@babesonwaves.club to pause – we just need at least 7 days notice before your next bill is due. 

For every member you refer, you get 1x month of free membership after they’ve stayed for 3 months. 

Email us at info@babesonwaves.club to let us know any babes you’ve referred!

Are you sure you’d rather not pause for up to 3 months (to stay on the directory & not have to reapply to the membership), & that you don’t just need to downgrade to only pay for what you’re using?

If so, you can cancel your membership at any time from your Account area. 

Do NOT just email us to cancel your membership- we can’t refund any fees that you’re charged if you do, as cancelling your membership is your responsibility.
