THE BRIEF
A community fundraiser for Sistah Space as part of the UN’s 16-days of activism against Gender Violence campaign. The aim was to create a safe space for attendees to learn about gender-based violence, generate awareness for Sistah Space and bring together WOC communities within London.
WHAT WE DID
We created a campaign called ‘We Bloom Together’, exploring the parallels between building nurturing our communities like you would your garden, to create change. We invited London’s leading WOC-run youth communities like Azeema, Everyone’s Invited & Baesianz to take part in a flower arranging workshop with Sage Flowers. Floral Canapés were curated by Jamaican food studio ‘Oom’, while attendees also listened to a panel hosted by Sistah Space and 4 external speakers in the domestic violence field.
To continue amplifying the event across socials, we created 2x educational infographics and a community-produced empowement playlist with Apple music.
